What a day to start the Easter holiday today. I haven’t been this active for years.
First stop is the bowling lane. We arrived at the Zone at 11am. The place was not crowded at all. We played two games… I scored 105 and 98. Not too proud of the scores as I’ve done better before in Wii. Anyway, it was fun playing with Ivan, May, Sidney, and wife. Managed to have a few strikes. And most importantly, it’s some exercise that we all needed.
Ivan proposed having 車仔麵 at the Parker Place for lunch. What a great choice. It’s the best I have ever had in my life. I tried it in HK a few years ago, but these were just way better. Six bucks for 4 choices of tasty ingredients – what a bargain. I highly recommend it. I’ll definitely go again too.
Next, we also did something we haven’t done for a year – Karaoke. Right, it used to go very often in the past, but not so much the past 3 years. It’s the first time I went to K-fever. I like the open lounge where there’s a big screen and you can listen to strangers sing. It takes some courage to sing in the open lounge, and those guys and girls singing there today were good. 3 hours at the Karaoke box costs us $18 each. I tried 蘇永康’s 囍帖街, think I did okay.
We headed home after that and watched Marley and Me, and played a game of Poker. It’s quite fun when money is involved… I think I lost $5 in my first game. I guess I didn’t have a good poker face.
Hot pot dinner at Top Gun was the next stop. Sashimi boat with fat oysters… yum yum… I liked the fatty beef and the gangster dinner feel was the best.
Another game of Poker after dinner was demanded by the group. This time, I lost $2.5.. haha…not my day.
